Title : HR Administrative Assistant
Location : Victoria, TX
Duration : 24 months Onsite contract
Hourly pay rate on W2(no other benefits)
On-site contract job and There will be no reimbursement for relocation.
In addition to having strong overall administrative skills, the candidate needs to excel in the following areas: 1. Candidate must be able to professionally communicate with important clientele via email and phone. Communications should be clear and concise, grammatically correct, and customer service oriented in nature. 2. Candidate must be friendly, energetic, and outgoing, and must have a "can do" attitude to help with whatever task is asked of them. 3. Candidate must be professional and customer service oriented in all aspects of their work - written and verbal communications, in person, room set up and catering presentation, work output, etc. 4. Preferred candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power point. Candidates with previous employment at call centers are not preferred unless they have additional and different previous work experience
Summary: Responsible for providing support for all communications and public affairs and miscellaneous HR team functions.
Previous administrative assistant, customer relations experience preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
Strong written and verbal communication skills, multi-tasking, customer service oriented, professional demeanor, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage ones time. Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required. Knowledge of IBM Lotus Notes is preferred but not required.
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with the communications and public affairs team to support various tasks related to the visitors and tours program, event planning, communications, and community relations. Manage scheduling, site preparations, and special request coordination for visitors and tours program. Support all areas of internal event planning including catering, vendors, decorations, and other needs while adhering to event scope and budget. Assist with internal communication activities such as newsletter distribution, updating facility bulletin boards, maintaining email distribution lists, and managing updates to general documents. Support the community relations program by facilitating donation payments and internal involvement of community activities. Other tasks could include managing merchandise inventory, HR team project support, and performing other duties as assigned
